NABLUS, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up 42 citizens in Nablus governorate in June including five children, the Tadamun foundation for human rights said in a statement on Monday.

Ahmed Tobasi, a researcher with the foundation, said that the arrests were made after storming dozens of houses in various areas in the province, pointing out that liberated prisoners were also among the detainees.

He said that the arrests are coupled with savage search of homes during which inhabitants are brutalized and furniture and other property are damaged.

IOF troops daily launch search and arrest campaigns in various West Bank areas. They rounded up 265 West Bankers in June including 38 children and three women.
