GAZA, (PIC)– Waad association for the support of Palestinian prisoners held the Israeli prison service (IPS) responsible for the consequences of night raids and attacks on Nafha prisoners, considering them as a serious provocation for those prisoners.

Waad said in a press release on Tuesday that the IPS had deliberately escalated its repression measures during the holy month of Ramadan, including preventing prisoners from performing their religious rituals in addition to delaying meals at Iftar (break fasting) and Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) time.

Waad charged that the attack on Nafha prisoners violated the agreement between the prisoners and IPS that prevents provocative measures, warning that the prisoners will react against those provocations.
