BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Israeli forces moved part a military checkpoint on Sunday near the Bethlehem village of al-Khader, witnesses said.
Eyewitnesses told Ma’an that a checkpoint at the entrance to Newe Daniyyel settlement, built on private Palestinian land, was moved around 400 meters, effectively annexing around 300 dunams of land.
Farmers will no longer be able access their fields, an area equivalent to 3,000 sq. meters.
An Israeli army spokesman was unfamiliar with the incident.
