Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —

Israeli forces raided the family home today of Silwan man Samer Sarhan who was shot dead by an Israeli settler guard in September 2010. The raid fell a few days short of the second anniversary of Sarhan’s death in al-Bustan district of Silwan. Israeli forces initiated the raid without a warrant and confiscated the ID cards of three family members.

Sarhan Sarhan (23), Khaldun Sarhan (27), and Yihya Sarhan (18) had their ID cards taken by officers and were told to present themselves for investigation at Muskubiye police station next Thursday.

The Sarhan family home was also raided last year a few days before the anniversary of the death, with several relatives arrested during the raid.
