NORTHERN JORDAN VALLEY, (PIC)– Israeli soldiers confiscated on Sunday around 100 cows, belonging to Palestinians in Ain al-Hilweh area, and transferred them to a military camp in the Northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources.

Head of Toubas and the Northern Jordan Valley council Marwan Toubassi said in a statement that the occupation confiscated Palestinians’ livestock in an attempt to drive the citizens out of their lands by denying them their source of living.

He pointed out that this is the second time soldiers seize cattle and impose huge fines on Palestinians to retrieve them.

Eyewitnesses added that the Israeli troops had closed since morning hours on Sunday the grazing lands in al-Maleh area in Northern Jordan Valley, where they confiscated about 100 cattle owned by Jamal Mustafa Daraghmeh and his brother Ayed, then transferred the confiscated livestock to Samra army Camp.
