IOF arrests five citizens from West Bank, including three brothers

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Monday five citizens, three of them from the town of Anata in occupied Jerusalem and two from the town of Beit Ummar, north of al-Khalil.

The IOF arrested three brothers: Mahmoud, Yazid, and Walid Hout, from their home in the town of Anata eastern Jerusalem.

The detainees’ family affirmed that a large force of Israeli soldiers and border guards accompanied by sniffer dogs stormed the house of the three brothers and arrested them after searching and damaging their house, and interrogated all adult members in the house and took the three brothers to an unknown destination.

Yazid Hout had spent three years in occupation prisons before being released two years ago after paying a fine of fifteen thousand shekels, while Mahmoud spent one year behind bars.

At the same time, local sources stated that a large force of the Israeli army raided Beit Ummar village, northern al-Khalil and arrested two young men Tariq Jamal Khalil Abu Hashem, 18, and the liberated prisoner Mohamed Ahmed Khalil Abu Hashem, 17.
