CAIRO, (PIC)– Moussa Abu Marzouk, Hamas’s deputy political bureau chief said that Abbas should be talking, in international forums, about what he could do and what his people want and to realize the Palestinians’ interests, especially on the anniversary of the blessed Aqsa Intifada.

Abu Mazen’s speech at the United Nations was emotional… Where he expressed his anger towards settlements, promised to continue with the UN membership application, but insisted on continuing with the negotiations, Abu Marzouk said.

Is there a difference between his speech of last year and the current speech at the United Nations, as well as the Palestinian conditions which President Abu Mazen bears its responsibility, Abu Marzouk asked, adding that Abu Mazen has to talk about what he could do and what his people want and to realize the Palestinians’ interests, especially on the anniversary of the blessed Aqsa Intifada.

Abu Marzouk called on PA president to stop negotiations and security coordination with the enemy, and to put an end to the Paris Protocol, and to work for a popular uprising to address the new settlements and to work to end the Gaza siege and to activate the Palestinian reconciliation.

He also called on Abbas to provide a good atmosphere for free elections in the West Bank and Jerusalem and Gaza, to release public liberties and freedoms of political action, to initiate voter registration in Jerusalem and the West Bank and Gaza, and to hold elections for a national assembly which will lead to a national leadership and a national program and a national real unity.
