TUBAS, (PIC)– Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) prevented on Friday solidarity activists from Spain from entering Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley to support the Palestinian residents and forced them to return.

“The delegation, included personalities and representatives of Spanish youth groups, was detained by an Israeli patrol on the outskirts of the city of Tubas in northern West Bank,” spokesman for “Spain and Palestine have one voice for freedom” delegation, Runamia Tulane, said.

She noted that the Israeli soldiers stopped the team and confiscated is members’ passports and then forced them to leave the area after they refused to give them back their documents.

The soldiers badly treated them without any justification and threatened to arrest them after they found with some members Palestinian flags and pictures of the city of Jerusalem and Palestinian prisoners with slogans against the occupation, she said.
