OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and heritage warned, in a report, of an “unprecedented” escalation by the Israeli occupation that aims to enforce the division of Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jewish settlers.

Al-Aqsa Foundation stated that nearly 1300 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecrated it during the last 30 days, noting that the increased raids by settlers and Jewish groups of al-Aqsa Mosque represent an advanced step in the scheme of dividing it.

The foundation pointed that al-Aqsa Mosque is going through a very serious and crucial stage, as the occupation has been accelerating the implementation of its plans targeting the mosque and Jerusalem.

It called on the Jerusalemites and the Palestinians from the 1948-occupied territories to intensify their daily presence in al-Aqsa Mosque in order to protect and defend it, and urged the Islamic nation to take an effective step to save it.

Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage said that according to statistics and daily monitoring, al-Aqsa Mosque was stormed 24 times by the settlers and Jewish groups, during the last 30 days, and that there is an unprecedented escalation, during the raids, demonstrating that the occupation is trying to impose the division of al-Aqsa.

The foundation’s teams observed, over recent days, striking changes in the practices of the occupation and its forces deployed around and inside al-Aqsa Mosque, as the occupation forces started raiding and thoroughly searching all al-Aqsa Mosque while preventing the youths and all those below the age of 45 from entering the Mosque.
