OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Hebrew sources revealed an Israeli plan to implement extensive excavations in Silwan town east of Jerusalem.
According to Haaretz Hebrew newspaper on Thursday, Tel Aviv University archaeologists in coordination with pro-settlement association will soon start implementing archaeological excavations in the National Park of the city of David in the town of Silwan.
For their part, Israeli human rights and leftist organizations have opposed the excavations “aiming to impose the Israeli narrative adopted by the Elad Association as a part of its Judaization processes in the eastern neighborhoods of Jerusalem”.
