TOBAS, (PIC)– One hundred Palestinian citizens were wounded in IOF shooting and quelling of Tamon inhabitants on Monday with 35 of them hit with live and rubber bullets.
Local sources said that the confrontations in the town, Tobas district, were the most violent in recent years, adding that hundreds of young men encircled the Israeli occupation forces who were trying to arrest Murad Bani Ode, a Jihad activist.
They said that the soldiers fired in all directions using live and rubber bullets in addition to teargas and took away the young man.
The soldiers maintained their presence outside the town and tension was still running high in the village as the soldiers searched all cars getting in and out of it.
The sources said that most of the injuries were minor and seven of them were moderate, but some of them suffered fractured bones.
