Sheikh Salah made his remarks during the Friday Khutba (sermon) that he delivered in Assumoud tent in Al-Bustan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
“The tyrants and their injustice will be doomed, and since we have a right, the occupation, regardless of its military and intelligence power, will come to an end and be torn apart soon without feeling pity for it,” Sheikh Salah stated.
“I like to say to all our steadfast people of Silwan, Al-Bustan neighborhood and throughout Jerusalem that the occupation is going to be doomed, so do not be tempted, ‘Occupation,’ by your arsenal, media and intelligence,” he said.
“You are destroying the land of our people in Shuafat to set up a road and the land of Beit Safafa to make wide streets, you are tampering with the lives of our people in Issawiya and stealing the homes of our people in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood using false excuses, you are attacking our people in Silwan arresting children, women, and mosque imams, and you are appropriating the lands and homes of our people in Silwan and destroying dozens of homes there, but in spite of all that ‘Occupation’ you will remain illegitimate and God is stronger than you, so anticipate your imminent demise,” Sheikh Salah emphasized.
The head of the Islamic Movement also highlighted the growing Judaization dangers threatening Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque, noting that he witnessed the size of destruction inflicted by the Israeli regime on the Muslims’ graves in the Mamanullah cemetery in the holy city.
