OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli Magistrate’s Court extended on Tuesday the detention of Mohammed Abbasi, 15 from Silwan, until next Friday pending investigation.
The Information Center in Wadi Hilweh stated that the Israeli General Prosecution demanded the extension of the boy’s detention for seven days to interrogate him in Moscobiya cells, but the judge extended his detention till next Friday, on allegations of throwing stones and Molotov cocktails in Silwan.
The Center said that the occupation forces raided the house of Abbasi at dawn Monday, summoned him and then extended his detention to appear before the judge on Tuesday.
According to Abbasi family, their son Mohammed had been arrested once before, two years ago.
Meanwhile; the Magistrate Court judge has decided to release three children from Silwan on bail of one thousand shekels for each one of them. They will also be under house arrest for two weeks, and are only allowed to leave for school.
The Information Center in Wadi Hilweh points that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the three children last Wednesday at dawn after raiding their homes in Silwan.
The Israeli police summoned yesterday Amir Farroukh, 14, to the Moscobiya center. His family stated that the policemen took photos of him and took his fingerprints without interrogating him. The boy was released two hours after his arrest.
