DAMASCUS, (PIC)– Palestinian two-days-old newborn and a female university student, from Neirab refugee camp in Syria, were killed when a bus carrying a number of the camp’s residents was targeted by an armed group belonging to the Syrian regime, Working Group for Palestinians in Syria confirmed.

A state of panic has prevailed among the residents of Khan Dannoun following the violent clashes that took place in the camp between the Free Army and the regime’s army which led to the injury of a number of Palestinian refugees, according to the Working Group correspondent.

Khan Dannoun suffers an acute shortage of food and medical supplies, in addition to the continuing power and communication outages. The camp hosts a large number of displaced families and from other Palestinian refugee camps and surrounding areas.

A number of streets in Yarmouk refugee camp were shelled, causing material damage, the Working Group reporter stated, pointing out to the severe siege imposed on the camp by the Syrian regime.

Daraa refugee camp was subjected to several mortar shells, no injuries were reported, in addition to the severe living conditions suffered by the Palestinian refugees
