NAZARETH, (PIC)– Informed human rights sources said that the Palestinian prisoner Maysara Abu Hamdiya who is receiving chemotherapy at Soroka Hospital for his cancer, is suffering from very serious health condition.
Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said in a press statement on Sunday that the prisoner Abu Hamdiya is receiving chemotherapy in the hospital under heavy military guard by at least 30 Israeli jailers, who are keeping his hands and feet shackled to the hospital bed.
The statement pointed out that the occupation authorities are depriving the patient prisoner Abu Hamdiya from visits, and stressed on the need to immediately release him while ensuring the continuation of his treatment in light of his “extremely serious” health deterioration.
