Delegation of 30 children from Gaza to visit US soon

GAZA, (PIC)– 30 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip were chosen to visit the US soon to explain the justice of the Palestinian cause, especially the issue of the prisoners.

Palestinian ex-detainees, families of prisoners and human rights activists met on Sunday with these children, who were chosen carefully from among 250 others after undergoing a special exam.

These children are committed to participating in a special educational program to teach them about human rights principles and how to defend the Palestinian people’s rights before they can fly to the US.

Human rights activist Iyad Naser said there would be two separate flights for these children, where the girls would visit the US first on April 9 and would stay there until 22 of the same month, and the boys would leave on the other day and would stay there for the same period.

The children will convey several messages about the suffering of the Palestinian people, most importantly, Israel’s blockade on Gaza and its violations against the prisoners, and will meet with noted US human rights figures.

In another incident, dozens of Palestinian citizens rallied in Rafah area south of Gaza on Sunday morning in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

The protestors carried banners and chanted slogans urging the World Health Organization to take action to save the lives of patients in Israeli jails.

They also condemned in speeches Israel’s human rights violations against the prisoners and its use of handcuffs and shackles to confine the jailed patients to their sickbeds.

* The list of shuhada does not display, the numerous victims of the zionist occupation which are undocumented by media. Nor it displays the victims of the “silent onslaught” due to restrictions of movement, ability to go to hospitals for treatment or life saving surgery, due to lack of medication because of the blockades and so on. For example: The Slow Motion Genocide by the Siege on Gaza only, killed 600 patients since Gaza got under Israeli Siege.

Neither does this list, display the avoidable mortality. A clear and statistical factual evidence, about the number of deaths due to indecent ruling by occupation forces. For even an occupier has obligations under International Laws, Geneva Convention and the Hague regulations, which it is neglecting. These circumstances, together with deliberate policies of the occupier to neglect and even deny every basic human right, severes avoidable mortality which is totally silenced by media or reporting organisations. While in the Holocaust, 1 on 6 Jewish people directly died of deliberate neglect, so if we believe the facts over 1 million due to avoidable mortality, neither should these same circumstances be ignores which are ongoing in Palestine. For this report displays a avoidable morality of at least 0,5 million Palestinians.

How many more dead corpses of Palestinians does the international community need to see in order to act? How many more cruelties and violations of Human Rights, Regulations and International Law will be needed to intervene so this ongoing warcrime is being stopped once and for all.
