Mashaal: We will continue to liberate prisoners from Israel’s jails

GAZA, (PIC)– Head of Hamas’s political bureau Khaled Mashaal said that his Movement would keep working hard to liberate all Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails, renewing his Movement vow to uphold the resistance as an option to restore the usurped land and rights.

Mashaal made his remarks in a speech he gave over the phone during a festival held on Wednesday evening by the Hamas Movement in the Gaza Strip on the anniversary of the prisoner day and the assassination of its leader Abdul-Aziz Al-Rantisi.

“Our eyes are longing to see Jerusalem, the Aqsa Mosque, Palestine and all the sacred land liberated without ceding a single inch of it,” the Hamas political leader stated.

In a related context, senior Hamas official Abbas Al-Sayed, a prisoner in Hadarim jail, urged his Movement to use all means to liberate all prisoners, especially the women, from Israel’s jails.

In a leaked letter he wrote on the anniversary of the prisoner day, Sayed reminded his Movement of what its founder Sheikh Ahmed Yasin had said that the prisoners would be released despite the occupation.

He also called on all prisoners to be patient, steadfast and united, and to utilize their time for their benefit until the freedom day comes.
