NABLUS, JENIN, (PIC)– Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed after midnight a number of neighborhoods in Nablus, where clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli forces escorting hundreds of settlers stormed Yusuf’s Tomb east of the city.
Clashes erupted in Askar and Balata refugee camps leading to several injuries among the residents including an infant after IOF troops fired tear gas. No arrests were reported.
Five hundreds of settlers broke into the tomb and performed religious rituals and prayers under heavy protection of the IOF, local sources confirmed.
Meanwhile, Israeli Occupation Forces raided at dawn on Monday several towns in Jenin district where they stormed and searched a number of houses.
Troops boarding ten Israeli Military vehicles stormed at dawn, two houses in the village of Jaba’, south of Jenin where they interrogated the houses’ owners.
Security and local sources said that Israeli forces raided the village, broke into the houses of Yahya Kamal Fakhoury and Amarah Awni Fashaqsha, ransacked them and interrogated their residents.
The Israeli forces also raided towns of Silat al-Dhaher and Fandaqumiya south of Jenin, and took position at the gate of Silat al-Dhaher secondary school. No arrests were reported.
