RAMALLAH, (PIC)– Palestinian activists have launched a campaign against Oslo accords to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the agreement signed in 1993 between the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Israeli authorities.

The campaign came to raise awareness of the seriousness of this agreement that undermined the Palestinian national project for liberation, tightened the noose on the resistance in the West Bank and Gaza, and conceded the Palestinian fundamentals, Ahmad Abu Ratima, who launched the campaign, told Quds Press.

He said that the Oslo accord was the number one cause for the suffering of the Palestinian people and the decline of the Palestinian issue in all fields.

The Palestinian activist affirmed that the campaign’s organizers do not belong to any party, stressing that it came in response to the Palestinian factions’ state of immobility and to pressure the Palestinian decision-makers.

He stressed the efficiency of such campaigns where they managed though the Return March in 2011 to raise awareness of the Palestinian refugees’ issue to the world.

The Palestinian activist said that the campaign includes raising awareness of the seriousness of these accords on the Palestinian issue through social network sites and through organizing marches and conferences in European countries in coincidence with the 20th anniversary of Oslo accords.
