NABLUS, (PIC)– The health condition of a number of Palestinian prisoners in Ramon jail has been worsening with no appropriate medical care accorded to them.
The Palestinian prisoner’s society said in a statement on Sunday that the sick detainee Mohammed Al-Sharha from Al-Khalil was threatening to go on hunger strike if the prison authority did not divulge the kind of tumor he was suffering.
Sharha, who is serving a 22-year sentence, told his lawyer that he gave the prison authority till 1st of July to transfer him to hospital for proper treatment or else he would go on hunger strike.
Meanwhile, another lawyer for the association visited each of Jawad Abu Qare and Ali Balu. She said that Abu Qare was suffering severe dental inflammation that cost him almost all of his teeth in addition to repeated fainting.
She said that Balu was suffering acute stomach pain since 2004 that increased due to medical neglect and led to seizures as a result of the severe pain.
