Egyptian authorities have tightened security along the Gaza border amid ongoing unrest in Egypt. The measure, however, has made the life of about 1.7 million Gazans miserable. They have been suffering the consequences with shortages of fuel and other essential commodities.
Gaza is in the midst of a fuel shortage, with blackouts lasting up to 10 hours. The health sector, particularly, foreseen an acute crisis if the Strip continues to suffer from fuel shortage.
