RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Palestinian prisoner society said that the health conditions of the Jordanian hunger strikers in the Israeli Soroka hospital continue to deteriorate.
In a press release, the society stated that all the Jordanian prisoners suffer from a sharp decline in their weight and ability to walk, and some of them suffer from severe pains in their chests and stomachs.
Lawyer of the society Fawwaz Shallodi said that prisoner Mohamed Remawi suffers from mediterranean fever, the most serious conditions in Soroka hospital, in addition to other health problems in his lung and stomach.
He affirmed that as a result of the long hunger strike, Rimawi started to vomit blood from his mouth and feel acute pains in his stomach and heart.
The lawyer noted that since their transfer to Soroka hospital, the Jordanian prisoners have been shackled to their beds and prevented from performing their prayers without these restraints.
