Gaza, Alray – A group of settlers , under the protection of Israeli military forces (IMF) , assaulted on Wednesday evening a Palestinian child and her father in Tel Rumeida neighborhood in Hebron, eyewitnesses reported.
They told Alray that a group of settlers and Israeli soldiers stormed the neighborhood brutally which aroused a state of fear among Palestinians. They beat Shatha Ramadan ,12, and her father and hurt them badly.
The IMF also arrested Raed Abu Rumaila,42, after holding him for two hours in one of Israeli checkpoints near Ibrahimi Mosque.
Raed Abu Rumaila is a rights activist , working in documenting the IMF violations against Palestinians.
As the occupying force, Israel must protect the Palestinians in the West Bank. However, the Israeli authorities neglect to fulfill this responsibility and do not do enough to prevent Israeli settlers from attacking Palestinians, their property and lands.
