The Department of Statistics added that the occupation has continued to detain about 5,200 Palestinian prisoners in 17 jails and detention center, including 13 MPs, 146 administrative detainees, 220 children and 13 women, all of them have been subjected to different forms of physical and psychological torture.

The report stated that 81 prisoners were killed in the Israeli jails during the past thirteen years, as a result of torture or the deliberate killing, not to mention the policy of medical neglect adopted against the patients.
