About two weeks since its launch on Youtube, the mp3 of my new song ‘Al Jeel Al Jadeed’ has now been made available for free download.

Visit this link and you will be able to hear the song, and download it if you like it. You can stream the mp3 by clicking the play button on the player here below. In fact, if you stream it, you help the song in rising in the Soundclick charts.

You can also watch the music video here below, which has subtitles in 4 languages: English, Dutch, French and Spanish. Click on CC at the bottom of the video, and you will get the choice of which subtitles you would like to see. It may be that these options are not available to you if you watch the video on your mobile phone, or in its embedded version here below

Announcement

As announced on my website before, there were plans of launching the song ‘Al Jeel Al Jadeed’   as the first song of a new, entirely Arabic album. However, this plan has now been modified. Although responses to the song were largely positive, I feel they did not suffice as encouragement for me to continue in trying out this new direction.

Nevertheless, I am very thankful to those who sent me their positive comments, and extra thankful to those who undertook efforts to help promote the song.

Musically, I will go back to my previous habits. Composing and publishing songs will continue as before, without defining language or style beforehand, keeping everything spontaneous. This means that the next song could be Arabic or English, purely dependent on inspiration.

I hope you will continue to enjoy my music!
