BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Four Palestinian refugees have been killed in ongoing clashes in Syria, says a Palestinian group.

According to a statement by the Workforce for Palestinians in Syria, Raed Ahmad Muwas was killed in clashes in Daraa refugee camp on Monday.

Three other refugees were killed in Khan Danoun refugee camp near Damascus. According to the statement, Muhammad Qasim Omar, his brother Ghayyath, and Bahjat Yaakub died of torture in Syrian regime jails.

The statement also highlighted that several mortar shells landed in Sbeina refugee camp in the outskirts of Damascus.

A university student from the Yarmouk refugee camp has been missing since Thursday, the statement added.
