Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —The Magistrate court judge extended on Tuesday the arrest of 13-year old Othman Amer Is’eed from the neighborhood of Bab Hutta until next Thursday.
Othman’s lawyer appealed the decision in the District court which rejected the appeal and ratified the Magistrate court’s decision.
The Israeli forces had arrested Othman and his 15-year old brother Obaida on Sunday night after raiding and searching their home in the neighbourhood of Bab Hutta in the old city of Jerusalem. They were investigated by themselves and without having a companion and a hearing session was held on Monday where Othman’s arrest was extended until Thursday and his brother Obaida until next Wednesday.
Amer Is’eed explained that both of his sons were severely beaten during the investigation at Al-Maskobyeh especially the 13-year old.
He appealed for the legal and human rights organization to quickly interfere to allow him to visit his sons at Al-Maskobyeh, and to prevent the children investigation and the assault they undergo at Al-Maskobyeh.
