GAZA, (PIC)– Waed Association for Captive and Ex-captives expressed deep concern over the health status of Muta’sam Radad who faces death in Israeli prisons.
Muta’sam takes more than 20 pills per day in addition to number of injections, the association added, pointing out to the deterioration of his health situation due to Israeli poor treatment.
Waed renewed its call on international human rights institutions to intervene to save Radad’s life, pointing out that three Palestinian prisoners suffer serious health problems in light Israeli medical negligence.
Palestinian prisoners’ lawyer Amer Abu Hamdiya also warned of the deterioration of Palestinian prisoner Tarek Assi’s health status, held in Nafha prison and sentenced to 20 years.
Tarek Assi suffers from colon cancer since long time, where he has been recently transferred to Ramla hospital to undergo urgent medical tests, especially that medicines did not improve his health situation, the lawyer said.
Abu Hamdiya also expressed concern for captive Alaa al-Hams, who hails from Gaza and is serving a 29-year prison term, because he suffers from tuberculosis as well as inflammation of the optic nerve causing him 70% loss of vision in his left eye so far. He could totally lose his vision if his condition is left untreated.
He also suffers from inflammation of the lymph gland, frequent fainting, bedwetting, stomach pains and severe inflammation, in addition to vomiting blood.
