ANKARA, (PIC)– About 50 angry Turkish protesters, including members of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, tried on Sunday evening to break into the Israeli embassy in Ankara in protest against Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The protesters, who were chanting pro-Palestinian slogans, stoned the embassy premises and tried to storm the building, but the Turkish police blocked their attempt.
The demonstrators then tried to storm the Israeli Ambassador’s home; however the Turkish police prevented them from approaching the house. The police then closed the street leading to US embassy as the demonstrators tried to reach it.
