According to Palestinian media reports, several people were injured on the same day in an Israeli assault on a UN school in Jabalia, north of Gaza City.
Palestinian health officials have said at least 89 entire families have been killed in Gaza since Israel started its offensive on July 8.
Meanwhile, several Israelis were injured when a rocket fired by Palestinian resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip hit the city of Ashkelon on Tuesday.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, fired an R-160 rocket on Haifa and four M-75 rockets on Tel Aviv.
According to the Israeli army, the Palestinians bombarded Israel with more than 100 rockets on Monday.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades launched retaliatory rockets against several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Sha’ar HaNegev and Sdot Negev.
More than 2,135 Palestinians, including around 570 children, have been killed so far in the Israeli onslaught on Gaza. Some 11,000 others have been wounded.
Tel Aviv says 68 Israelis have been killed in the conflict, but Hamas puts the number at more than 150.
