RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Palestinian and Israeli delegation to the truce talks in Cairo are expected to resume indirect negotiations by mid this week, Palestinian sources said.
The sources told the London-based ‘Al-Shark Al-Awsat’ newspaper that the talks will tackle outstanding issues including the release of detainees and the rebuilding of the airport and the seaport in Gaza along with other issues.
They said that the negotiations will continue for a month between the two parties to reach a final ceasefire agreement.
The paper reported that Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, will visit Cairo, on the 7th of October, to participate in the consultative meeting for the Arab foreign ministers.
