Gaza Interior Minister calls on Ukraine to track missing Gaza man

GAZA, (PIC)– Gaza Minister of Interior Fathi Hamad has called upon his counterpart in the Ukraine Anatoly Vladimirovich Magelov to take urgent action to uncover the cause of suspicious disappearance of Dirar Abu Seesi.

The official letter detailed events surrounding Abu Seesi before he had gone missing on 18 February. It says he had taken a train from the east Ukrainian city of Kharkov to the capital Kiev to meet his brother Yousef at the Borispol airport. He had not seen him in 15 years.

The next morning, a friend due to meet Abu Seesi at a Kiev train station en route to the airport was surprised not to have found him. His brother Yousef also did not find him at the airport.

After several hours of waiting, he contacted police.

Abu Seesi’s wife Foronica Serge who was in Kiev had reported her husband’s disappearance to authorities.

According to the letter, Abu Seesi was born in Jordan in 1969 and had received a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1994, and received a Ph.D. in 1999 from the National University in Kiev.
