Gaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-One Palestinian citizen was killed yesterday during his work in a tunnel collapse beneath Rafah-Egypt borders.

According to local sources, the victim identified as Ahmed Irbai, 29, died when a smuggling tunnel collapsed over him.

Medical teams evacuated the man to Abu Yousef al-Najjar as a dead body.

More than 160 Palestinians have been killed during their work in those tunnels since Israel imposed a siege on Gaza Strip in 2006. Many of them died as a result of such similar incident, electric shock, bombing, or suffocation.
