Palestinian activists accompanied by International and Israeli activists blocked the Gush Etzion intersection on route 60 north of Hebron to protest settlement expansion and military violence.
Protesters were confronted by large police and army forces in an attempt to suppress the action
During the confrontation, policemen and soldiers surrounded the demonstrators demanding them to disperse. One Israeli activist was then arrested and taken to Hebron police station.
